The contest was launched with the theme: ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth.

In this work, ASEAN is personified as the Filipino flower goddess Sisina from whose belly and roots emerge a bountiful array of national flora from each ASEAN country, representative of our natural heritage. Conveying that enhancing our efforts to preserve biodiversity is crucial to achieving far-reaching impacts on stable resources and economies as well as positive effects on human health and society. We can also better adapt to and minimize the negative consequences of climate change by strengthening the resilience of our natural environment which opens the door for a sustainable and prosperous future.

The work is fully digital using pencil-textured brushes.
