This piece was made for SmArt School’s Beginning Illustration class under the mentorship of Marc Scheff.
No Flight was an assignment to illustrate a cover image for Brooke Bolander’s No Flight Without The Shattering. It illustrates its main character, a human child, with the spirits of her elder animals as part of her, a blimp from a distance flies away with the red sun behind it.
